Welcome to the South Florida Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators.  Our Chapter was founded in 1972.  With over 150 members, we are the largest chapter in Florida, representing law firms of all sizes and a wide variety of practice areas.

Our Chapter prides itself on providing our members with exceptional educational and networking opportunities.  This year's program includes five luncheons, free monthly webinars, our annual Legal Expo, several networking receptions, and charitable events.  Please visit our Calendar for details.   These events are a great opportunity to make new friends while gaining valuable information. 

Peer support is another benefit of membership.  Through the member listserv and IMessaging available in our Members Only area, our members are able to poll other legal management professionals for an instantaneous exchange of ideas.  The commitment to assist fellow members is the reason we are one of the strongest networks of any professional association. 

Our chapter’s newsletter, The Network, which transitions to a new electronic format this year, is another wonderful resource which provides information on topics to help you manage your firm, your staff and your stress! 

Additionally, our chapter is supported by a strong business partner network.  With their support, we are able to offer our members connections with vendors who are on the cutting edge of products and services specifically geared toward the law firm environment.    I encourage you to refer to our Business Partner list whenever you are seeking outside assistance.  This list is a valuable resource for locating vendors that specialize in providing products and services to the South Florida legal community.
