The South Florida Chapter thanks you for your interest in the Association of Legal Administrators. Our international organization currently has 8,000 members and 114 chapters located throughout the United States, Canada, and New Zealand. The South Florida Chapter currently has in excess of 135 members. Your membership in the association will provide the key to open many doors...educational opportunities, professional growth, and the opportunity to meet and work with other members of your profession. As a member you will receive a variety of publications including a Membership and Peer Consulting Directory, a Career Resources Kit, subscriptions to our journal, member magazine, and educational publications. Members also receive reduced registration rates to attend ALA's annual educational conference and seminars throughout the year, plus discounts on ALA products. In order to become an ALA member, you must meet the criteria for membership as outlined on the application for membership. Also, association policy requires new member applications to be approved by the local chapter officer or regional representative prior to processing them at ALA headquarters.
