Legal Administrators are encouraged by The Florida Bar to join The PRACTICE MANAGEMENT AND TECHNOLOGY section of The Florida Bar as affiliate members. The purpose of the section is to provide a forum for discussion and exchange of ideas regarding improved management and technology in the practice of law. "The section is committed to helping attorneys and their staff make the transition from legal pads to computers, thus enabling the lawyer's firm to be more effective, productive and responsible to clients and the public. The section works closely with The Florida Bar to promote excellence and professionalism." The section provides a quarterly newsletter printed in The Florida Bar News called "State of the Art NEWS."
