The Association of Legal Administrators has a strong dedication to community service and the South Florida Chapter shares that commitment.  The South Florida Chapter’s Community Service Committee works year-round to raise funds for local and national organizations.  In the past, our Chapter through its members have coordinated book drives for local schools, participated in the Dress For Success Program, donated computers and other equipment, assisted other Florida Chapters during Hurricanes disasters, held golf tournaments and provided monetary assistance. 

This year the Chapter has committed to increasing participation among its members and our vendor partners by providing a variety of fund-raising opportunities.  Take the time to review the list and commit to one or more of the activities listed below. 

Golf Tournament 

The Annual Golf Classic is held each year at the Miami Shores Country Club.  Once again, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Miami-Ft.Lauderdale Affliate will receive the proceeds of this event.

Race For The Cure

Our chapter suppports The Race For The Cure each year in downtown Miami.  All funds raised at this event benefit the Susan G. Komen National Foundation.  Once again, member, vendors and family members are encouraged to participate. 

We also encourage our members to recommend local charities for consideration by the board members.  Our Chapter can and has made a difference in our community.
