COMMUNITY SERVICE/CHARITY |
|
Community service is an important goal of the South Florida
Chapter. The ALA encourages community service by its
chapters through an annual "Community Challenge Weekend" when
members are challenged to spend time giving back to their
community. Our chapter holds an annual Golf Tournament for charity
to benefit Susan G. Komen Race to Cure Breast Cancer.
We are one of the leading fund raisers in our community for this
charity.
